Here is Pandy, our new puppy during her first day with us.  Although we were taking her outdoors for her very first time as we carried her to our van, when we got home and "took her outside" for real, she squatted and peed right away.  She then proceeded to pee and/or poop outside each time I took her yesterday evening and all day today and has not had an accident yet.  She also slept through the night from midnight until I woke her at 7:30, which was excellent for her first night away from her mom and nine siblings.  She seems to miss them most when eating . . .misses being pushed on and nudged as she did when there was competition. A little petting seemed to help her adjust to being alone at dinner time.  She is growing more playful with each passing hour and looks like she will be a very fun dog, and yet is as sweet a puppy as anyone could ever hope for.  What a blessing!!!
I "short sheeted" her crate by sliding slats through the slots . . . works great!  This way we can make her sleeping area larger as she grows.
